WETECH (Women in Entrepreneurship and Technology) launches the WETECH Women In Code program

WETECH (Women in Entrepreneurship and Technology) in partnership with EN Group, launches the WETECH Women In Code program, short for WETECH WIC.

The purpose of this program is to enable women who wish to learn to code, to self-train as a group in the following areas:
– Web development
– Android Mobile Development

The program is totally free and open to African women under the following conditions:
– Be over 18 years old
– Have at least a Bachelor’s degree
– Have basic notions in English
– Have a computer
– Have access to an internet connection
– Be prepared to follow the sessions regularly for a minimum period of 3 to 6 months.

Physical sessions will be held every Thursday in Douala.

The launching program will take place on the 20th August, at the Tecno Building, near Socar Building in Akwa, Douala.

Participants outside Douala can register for the program and participate via the online community.
